Game Concept:

After graduation, the life is yours. In Life Quest, you could become anything. You might want to work a chef or continue your study until become doctorate. All you have to do is manage your time well.

Although a lot of us become like this, we can fantasy we rich in Life Quest

The major this you have to consider when playing life quest is time. You have limited time in a day. Your happiness contributes to your time frame. Happier you are, more time you have. The more time you have, more things can be done. You will need to invest some of your time making money which could buy happiness!

Just like real life, Life Quest is basicly about Time and happiness

So, the game is about time management. What is the challenge?

Your high school friends will show up. They become your rivals for life accomplishment. Your goal is to accomplish higher and faster than them!

My Reception:

Life Quest is a game I saw advertised. I always like casual games, like virtual villagers or tasty planet. The game is not new but I give it a try anyway.

Characters speak clearly! Good for English learner too!

When I heard a character speak, I know the game is well made. The 2D graphic fit just right to the game. It requires little power from a system.

With only a touchpad, you can beat your rival easily.

Control is extremely easy. You can play the game with only a mouse or a touchpad. This is truly click and sim.

The town, lots to explore

The game set in a town. It is not large but there are many things to be discovered. It is fun to dressing your avatar, like any sim games. Each cloth is not just for appearance, they give your avatar some stat boost. So, it is a worthy investment.

Each rival appear in the game prove little challenging at first. You might be bored by competing with them. However, most of your time in early plays will be invested in exploring your opportunities in the town. Thus, the early gameplay is not that boring. This game is really well designed given such pace.

Find jobs. That is a chef, not a pirate!

You got to eat every day in Life Quest, just like real life

After I play my time with the demo, I know that the game has high potential of fun because of its V/A (Visual + Acoutic) elements right and a good mix of challenging/accessibility.

Working could never be this easy!

End your day with sleep

The only flaw in the game is replayability. You will not earn much of fulfillment when you play the game for second time. You will have no bonus accomplishing your goal faster than finish it at all. However, given the price of the game, I think one playthrough is worth the bucks.

Your stat will prove significant later in Life Quest, such as finding a partner

Pets can boost your happiness, which in turn improve your time

This page is my shared tips and tricks and walkthrough.
This page is a huge spoiler!

Now, to solve all 17 puzzles.

1st - Sick Heathen: You heal her. She is lying on a bed in infirmary area.

2nd - Prison Break: Use your villager on bamboo fence. They will destroy the fence and use the wood for grenary.

After your villagers took down fences, they will construct a grenary

3rd - Hungry Totem: You one of your villagers to draw away yellow-mask heathens. When those heathens are distracted, use your villagers to destroy the totem.

Draw those aggressive heathens away and destroy the red eggplant

4th - Knowing Totem: This totem guard the lab. Use your villagers to draw the guard away, like you did with the hungry totem. If the scary one, red-mask, are there, you will need lightning strike power to drive them away. When the way is cleared, storm the totem with all your builders.

5th - Farm: You must research 2nd level construction. Then, put your Master Scientist to supervise the repair. Then, let your builders do the job.

Farm is a big food source for your villagers. Repair it ASAP!

6th - Mausoleum: Use your builders to storm the place. This is easy if the Blocking Totem is gone. If it still stand, solve puzzle 7 first.

7th - Blocking Totem: You need Master Builders to do the job. So, train them. When you have about 4 - 5 Master Builders, or 1 - 2 if you have many mana. Use lightning strike to drive the heathens away into the forest. During their flight, storm the Totem with your Master Builders. If they cannot destroy the totem fast enough, use another lightning or use bees to slow down the heathens.

If you clear the mausoleum too late, your villager will die without a place to rest

8th - Hollow Totem: Use 5 children at the totem. You will know why people always say "Don't leave your PC with a child."

You need children to take down the hollow totem

9th - Heathen Builder: Use your builder on the wooden sticks. He will challenge the heathen for fast building. You need to use Time Warp at your builder and he will beat the heathen.

10th - Lake: Wait for a rain. When some water show in the dry lake, use Divine Tempest. The lake will full. Then, use Revive for the fish to return.

11th - Pain Totem: Use a lightning strike on the totem. This will disable the spark. Then, storm the defenseless totem with your builders.

12th - Rainbow Totem: You need clothing hut for this one. So, you must research 2nd level Science. The clothing hut will appear along with 3 dye pots. Use your villagers on yellow and red dye until the pool become orange. The heathen will flee. So, you can storm the totem.

13th - Heathen scientist: Use your master scientist to solve a formula on the board in the lab. Master Heathen will assess the prove and gain faith. Prove for a few times and the heathen will join your rank.

14th - Tribute Statue: Upgrade 3rd level spiritual. Then, use your builders on the statue.

Once complete, you can train your builders by having them clean the statue up

15th - Blind totem: After the mausoleum is completed, there will be a pan on the right side of mausoleum gate. Use your villager at the pan and she will gather gold from the stream. When there is enough gold, after a few times of gathering, use your villager on the pot. She will smelt an eye from that gold. Then, put her on the totem. She will restore the totem and you will see throught the forest.

Before blind totem is restored, the forest is dark.

16th - Heathen Chief: Each time you convert a master heathen, you will get a piece of necklace. Once the neckleace is complete and the Blind totem restored, use your villager on the necklace. She will take it to the chief heathen and beat him up good.

17th - Heathen Parent: Use your faithful parent on heathen parent. They will talk and convert the heathen parent. You might get the only one male parent from this puzzle!

I convert a heathen parent and get this!
